










I spearheaded the design of the MVP for the global pricing tool and was requested in developing phase 2. Key stakeholders expressed a need for a more flexible approach to creating mathematical curves/models for pricing, as the MVP version had limited variations. To address this, I conducted an in-depth analysis of the taxonomy of pricing structures, understanding where adjustments were made. Stakeholders also desired a method to upload and maintain relationships with pricing tables, ensuring changes cascaded while allowing for exceptions and maintaining a clear pricing history. To meet these requirements, I proposed a solution comprising three types of tables: Parent, Children, and Exceptions. Through user discussions, we identified the need for subsets of parents (children), enhancing usability. Furthermore, users requested a flexible way to create mathematical models for pricing adjustments. Collaborating with stakeholders and engineers, we aligned on a hierarchy and functionality for adjustment, simplifying and standardizing the process where possible. Additionally, I developed a curves library accessible within the tool, streamlining the process of placing adjustment curves on pricing models.
